Virsual art

A guitar player holds a solo concert on the roof of the house on the right side of the picture. He looks joyful, yet when we see precisely on the left side, there seems to be no audience. Houses and houses are on the floor without any pedestrians, and it is like a silent night for the player to practice alone. The roof he stands on is much higher than any other roofs, and the design of the construction is more unique. Not only taller than any other houses but the roof is different from them. Maybe the tall building is an imaginary stage, and the houses on the hill make the audience.
Exactly, the houses make the audience; numerous people are sitting listening the best music of the night. When we have a more precise look on the houses, they gradually look like people’s faces, and the picture is actually a description of a concert with seats filled with people. Moreover, the tall building he stands on which seems to have a special design also makes the best stage for the player. website for the picture{http://www.gamez.com.tw/thread-386338-1-1.html}

Way to Greenisland~the second day

At AM5:00, one of my friends and I decide to have a look of the whole island by motorcycle. It was drizzling, and the temperature is quite comfortable. However, the weather became worse and worse, and eventually it became a down-pour. Due to this, something bad happened-I slipped from the motorcycle. Without a first-aid box or any thing to do some first-aid, what I want at that time was some clean water for me to clean my wound. As a result, I decided to go to the hot-spring, and I thought that there must be a restroom so I can wash my wound. Fortunately, I got my wound disinfected and wrapped at the service counter, and we bounded for the B&B at once. Because of the wound, I can’t go the hot-spring or swim in the sea, and it did disappoint me. I had to stay in the B&B alone; waiting for my friends came back from swimming. At night, we went to the night-market shopping. The little decorations and T-shirt are characteristic, and some of them are made by the criminals in Green-island prison. The patterns on the T-shirt are the map of Green-island, and slogans such as”fuck, the weather in Green-island is so hot~!”
I spent almost $700 for the souvenirs, but now I still think that they worth buying.

Way to Greenisland~the first day

On 4/6, the first day of our journey to Greenisland. As cloudy and rainy as it can be in Taipei, the weather rarely affect our good mood. AM6:51, we got on the train bounding for Taitung, and started our six hours on the train. In Yi-Lan, it did'nt rain, and we could see the sun shining in the blue sky, and the sea twinkling due to the sun light. In Hua-Lien, we could see the real jungle instead of the concrete jungle. The farmland is all green with a few herons flying above the field. On 12:20, we arrived at Taitung station. The air was rather fresh, and I felt very comfortable when wandering around the beautiful station unhurriedly. Then, we got in a texi and bounded for the harbor where we were going to take the cruise ship to Greenisland. I was really fortunate that I didi't feel seasick on the ship, and also had a good time on it. On arriving Greenisland, it was crowded at the harbor, and it was raining! According to the residents, it rarely rains in Greenisland, and we were so "lucky" that it was raining. For we had no where to go at night due to the rain, we just played a crad game called "uno", and ended our first night in the plain B&B.

Wonderful Music

I finally find some websites for me to down load some new-released albums. One of my favorite is "Notame's Orchestra", which is the original sound track of the TV drama Notame's Orchetra. The drama use quite a lot classical music as its background music. It made me love the classical music, especially the piano concerto written by Richmaninoff. What's more, there are numerous concerts recently. Hamasaki Ayumi has just finished her first concert of the travelling show in Asia in Taipei. I'm so depressed I can't get the ticket, for the tickets were sold out in only two hours. And TAO will perform the skills in playing drums on 4/6.7 in Taipei, too. However, the most important thing in my mind is neither Ayu's concert nor TAO but the music competition our chorus participate in on 3/28. Hoping we can get the first place.

A sentance per person

It’s a good day today. The sun is shining, and the weather is warm. I go no where but
to see my friends in the high school. But I suddenly remember that we had graduated a ling time; what’s more, I couldn’t remember which school I attended; therefore, I got no idea where to find my classmates. Fortunately, one dog came to me and talk to me, “actually, you are a dog, the same as me. So you don’t need to go to school.” I was so glad to meet that dog in that good day.

Opinion of LoSheng sanitorium

Lo Sheng sanitorium was established when Taiwan was under the government of Japan.Due to a terrible desease broke out, numerous people worried if there is anyone infected in their village. At that case, the government decided to isolate the patient in Lo Sheng sanitorium, and if there was any person SEEMS to be infected, the person has to be sent to the sanitorium at once. It had seemed to be a good policy, however, many were sent to the sanitorium due to they were probably lepers instead of they were lepers. In fact, many of them were infected in the sanitorium, not their home.
We interviewed an old grandmom, who has lived in Lo Sheng for a long time. She was sent to here when she was 16. In her memory, she just had a fever, and days later, some people came and sent her to Lo Sheng. Now, she has a daughter even many grandchildren. She got merried and gave birth to a baby in Lo Sheng. Her daughter and grandchildren are not lepers, and come to see her quite often.
In the talking, we know Lo Sheng and the patients here more than we knew before(Some even didn't know the place). The sanitorium is actually a villge, and people would help each other when in need. As the MRT construction program, the sanitorium is going to be pulled down, and all of the residents here have to be sent to a hospital nearby, which was recently built. According to them, the hospital is actually a jail. Because many of the residents can't move easily, it's difficult for them to escape if there is a fire takes place.Due to this, plenty of people object to demolish the sanitorium.
In my opinion, for the public benefits, the sanitorium can be demolished ONLY IF the residents are properly settled, and it is the best way to solve the dispute on this event.

First post

Here is my first post on this blog. My name is Jim, a undergraduate in Chang Gung university in Taiwan. Actually, I almost have a blog witten in Chinese at this web address: [www.wretch.cc/blog/amedohoshin].
My first idea of this blog is translate my Chinese blog into English for it's a good way to practicing English writing. Besides, I would post some photos I took when I went to Mt.Ho Huan, a mountain in the middle of Taiwan, and some I took in Hua Lian.
In effect, the blog is a homework of an English writing course in our university, yet I don't want it to be a homework, a blog instead. I think a short introduction can be a nice opening of the blog.
Liu Li Wei is my Chinese name. Listening to music is my favorite way to kill my free time(or use my free time),especially Japanese pop music and the background music in the animation of Miyasaki, the director of 千と千尋の神隱し.Besides, I like to read some comic books like Naruto or One Piece (both of them are Japanese comics). Badminton is the kind of sport I like most, and fortunately we have a inside ground for badminton.
After my short introduction, hoping you enjoy my blog.
